Mac’s Twin Bay Couple’s Tourney 2006 This year’s weather couldn’t have been better…not too hot or cold or windy or buggy! A record 81 couples entered this year’s contest! Each couple received a great gift pack, complete with Berkley duffle bags, hats from Cabela’s, MinnKota, Evinrude or Berkley, and Evinrude lanyards. As always, a delicious fish fry was served following the event. Thanks to Buzzie’s and Karen’s parents for cooking. Thanks to all our fish fileters, too!We had some great door prizes this year, including 2 3-bank chargers from Minn Kota, motor oil from Evinrude., gift certificate to Buzzies, deluxe fish house rental here at Mac’s and some clothing, too. It was a perfect day for Demo Boat Rides with Frankie’s Marine, too. We are qualifiers for the Cabela’s National Team Championship again this year, so the top two teams will be able to experience the tournament of a lifetime next summer. |

| Only one big fish again this year, a nice 7.57 lb fish caught by Pam Ruis and Jim Kiel, good for $200. Many limits were brought to the scales, but Jack and Kim Dunn cashed a check for $100 for bringing the first limit to the scale. Top Ranger finishers were Chris and Erin, who received a $500 gift certificate for Ranger wear! Top Evinrude finishers were Rick and Angel Grubele, who won a case of Evinrude oil. Smallest bag, worth $100 from Cabela’s, went to Jim and Barb Beck for a great big 0.98 fish! |

 Top honors overall went to:1. Bob and Patty Brandt (16.03 lbs, $1000 cash plus, plus a Lowrance X-15 and a $100 Cabela’s gift certificate), REPEATERS! They won last year, too! 2. Chris DeCosse and Erin Wittwer (14.89 lbs, $1200 cash, and $100 Cabela’s gift certificate) 3. Mike and Kim Mankowski ($1000 cash and $100 Cabela’s gift certificate.)(2nd in 2005!)
